Returns & Exchanges

 

COVID-19 update: to accommodate the challenges caused by COVID-19, we have extended our return shipping policy by 15 days.  We ask that you continue to initiate your return within 14 days of receiving your order but the products do not have to be received by us for 45 days after the date of purchase.

 

We want you to be completely satisfied with your online purchase. If you are unhappy for any reason, we'll gladly accept the return of brand-new, unopened items*.

 

*Items below are ineligible for return even in brand-new condition.

Return Policy

 

  • Returns and exchanges must be initiated within 14 days from the date of purchase and items must be received by ABC Cooking MARKET within 30 days from the date of purchase, barring any customs-related delays. 

  • Please check the condition of the product as soon as you receive it.

  • All returned items must be in their new and original condition.

  • Returns filed over 14 days from the date of purchase or for items falling under the following categories cannot be returned.

    • Opened packages and used items

    • All food items

    • All sale items (※All items with a ☆ symbol included in their product names)

    • All other items specified on the product page or below

  • Please note that we will not accept returns of products without that do not conform to the return/exchange procedure below.

  • Returns that do not meet the above requirements will not be accepted.  


 

How to Return/Exchange

  • Initiate a Return/Exchange

    • If you have an account, login here. Select the order number and complete the return form.  For exchanges, indicate the style number, color, and size you’d like to receive on the return form. 

    • If you checked out as a “guest”, click here. Complete the RMA and return forms.  For exchanges, indicate the style number, color, and size you’d like to receive on the return form. 

  • Select Shipping Method

    • At this time, we are unable to provide a prepaid shipping label for international returns.  Please use a carrier of your choice to ship the goods. 

    • Please note we are unable to provide a refund for any lost packages shipped without tracking.

  • Package the item(s)

    • Securely package the item(s) with the original invoice you received with your shipment or a printed copy of the confirmation email. 

  • Receive a Refund/Exchange

    • Once we receive the returned item(s), your refund will be initiated within 1-2 business days. 

    • Refunds in the original form of payment may take up to 10 business days to show on your account due to varying processing times between payment providers.  If you do not receive your refund after 10 days, our customer service team will gladly assist you.

    • Customs duties and taxes may be deducted from the refund amount.

    • Exchanges will be shipped out within 1-2 business days of your returned item(s) being received.

      ※Depending on the availability of the products, not all items can be replaced right away. Depending on the inventory, we may be able to provide a refund or customers may have to wait.

Change Orders • Additional Orders Due to the Customer’s Personal Preferences

Once the order has been received (the conclusion of a sales agreement), we are unable to process change orders nor additional orders due to the customer’s personal preferences. In the case, over two different orders have been submitted,  we do not provide services to combine two or more orders under one delivery. 

 

 

Cancellations Due to the Customer’s Personal Preferences

Any and all requests for cancellations after the order has been received (the conclusion of a sales agreement) cannot be processed for all orders, except under extenuating circumstances at our sole discretion. Please proceed to return the item after its receipt. 

 

 

Item Exchanges Due to Initial Defects

Though we take all possible measures to ensure a smooth shipping process, in the case the wrong item is delivered, or the item has defects or is damaged, we shall issue item exchanges or refund the amount paid for the merchandise, only if contacted via the “inquiry form” within 14 from the date of purchase. 

 

However, under the following circumstances, regardless of defect, no requests including those for returns shall be accepted.

  • The ordered item does not correspond to the customer’s subjective expectations for the product

  • Possible discrepancies between the product photos, illustrations, etc. posted on our shop and the actual item due to the color, form, etc. of the particular item, as well as the individual differences introduced in manufacturing

  • Damages, deformation, etc. of the exterior of the item using natural or recycled materials due to the nature of such materials which pose no problems to its functionality 

  • Changes to the quality or degradation of the item, or the defrosting of refrigerated items due to factors such as the prolonged storage of the item at the delivery company caused by customer delivery preferences

  • The condition of the item is equivalent or similar to that mentioned in its product description

  • Other items which cannot be recognized as defective due to the particular quality of the product or socially accepted conventions surrounding the type of product

 

In the Case of Non-Receipt of Item

Any item that cannot be delivered within 8 days from the date of delivery to the designated delivery address due to the customer's personal delivery preferences (e.g. Undeliverable Address, refusal to sign for an item)  shall be deemed a returned item. The customer shall be held financially liable for all required fees resulting from the delivery, return, storage, etc. of said item. 

 

Moreover, returns of non-returnable items such as food and sales items shall be disposed of by our Company, and they shall not be eligible for a refund of the amount paid for the merchandise.
